The car is cleaned and then moved into the paint booth for priming.

Priming well under way.

Eddie Siler inspects the doors and deck lid. He sanded them to bare metal. We only had the back sides blasted with glass beads.

The car is now primed and ready for sheet metal work. The sheet metal for the car was donated by Gateway Classic Mustang of Bourbon, MO. They furnished two new quarter panels, hood, front and rear valance, radiator core support, tailight panel, and fenders. Thanks to them for their generous donation!

The car is moved from Siler Paint and Body to Eddie Siler's Mustang shop. He is a member of Mustangs of East Texas and is an enthusiast just like the rest of the committee. This shop is where he works on his and his buddies cars. Eddie and his wife Donna have a 66 Coupe and a 65 Fastback of their own.
