On June 25, about 28 members of Mustangs of East Texas caravaned to the Mid America Team Shelby meet in Tulsa, OK. This was the 35th meet and it was fun and exciting as well as extremely hot. One of the highlights of our trip was being able to visit with Paul Kerner, Director of Operations and Chrisina Briseno, Marketing Director of Scott Drake Enterprises. They are shown here is front of the Shelby Performance Parts booth at the manufacturers section of the show. Scott Drake Enterprises donated the 1966 Mustang Convertible and $10,000 worth of parts for this project. We will be eternally grateful for their contribution to the East Texas Crisis Center and for the fun and excitement of getting to build the car by our club. Several of us were able to visit with several people who have helped with this project. In Addition to Paul and Christina, we saw Kevin Campbell with Kicker Performance Audio, Kenny Northum with Quantum Performance, Mary Jean Wesche, Editor of Mustang Times and Austin Craig, Publisher of Mustang Times. .
