Scott Drake Enterprises - They furnished the car to be restored and $10,000 worth of restoration parts. Scott Drake started the "Pay it Forward" car project. Mustangs of East Texas members (in red shirts) with Scott Drake (in white shirt) unloading the car from the transporter.

 

 

 

Quantum Performance - Quantum is furnishing a fresh 302 Roller Block with Ford Racing aluminum heads and intake. Below are several of our members with Kenny Northum of Quantum showing us the motor.

 

Performance Automatic - They furnished a rebuilt C-4 transmission along with bell housing, torque converter and block plate.

 

 

 

Baer Brakes - They are furnishing a complete front disc brake system designed to fit a 1966 Mustang. It includes Shelby Calipers, slotted and cross drilled rotors, hoses and hardware.

 

 

Gateway Classic Mustang - They furnished an extensive list of sheet metal that has been replaced on the car. Below is a small part of the panels that they furnished.

 

 

 

 

Ssnake Oyl Products - They are furnishing a complete set of restored original seat belts, hardware and carpet underlayment.

 

MP Products - They are furnishing custom kick panels for the speakers and a dress up plate that covers the area between the grill opening and the radiator core support.

 

 

English Color and Supply - They are furnishing the liquids needed to complete the paint (PPG) and body work on the car. Below is the final spray out card for the paint and a swatch of the leather that will used for the seat covers. The base coat will be the new PPG waterbourne line that is considered to be ecologically "green". The paint is Candy Apple Red and the upholstery is parchment.

 

 

Siler Paint & Body - They are donating their time to do the sheet metal, body work and painting of the car and all of the parts, as well as supplies like sand paper, adhesives, etc.

 

 

Restored original seat belts are provided by Ssnake Oyl Products. They are also providing the OEM style carpet underlayment and the Fender Gripper®

products used in the build.

 

 

Dave Berry from Bill Day Tire is shown getting ready to mount our new Scott Drake Sytled Steel Wheels to the new B F Goodrich TA Radial white letter tires that they donated.

 

 

 

Evercoat - They are donating paint and body supplies including sound deadners, seam sealers, etc.

 

Kicker Audio - They are furnishing two 6 1/2" mid range speakers, two tweeters and a sub woofer plus a complete wiring kit for the audio system.

 

 

Marti Auto Works - Marti furnished fan belts, hoses, VIN Plate, spark plug wires, battery cables, voltage regulator, solenoid, heater hoses, clamps and various other concours correct parts.

 

 

Ortigo Performance - Randy is furnishing a new racing grade carb for the engine and will tune the engine when assembled.

 

Distincitive Industries - They are furnishing a new Deluxe (Pony) seat cover set in Leather!!! along with a convertible boot and the fabric that covers the interior quarter panels.

 

Tyler Ford -Tyler Ford was kind enough to media blast the body, doors, deck lid, convertible top frame and rear end of the project.

 

Currie Enterprises - They furnished a new rear end third member and axles with new bearings for the project. It is an 8" 3.25:1 ratio limited slip differential. They even sent hardware, seals, gasket, gear oil and additive. What a great contribution!

 

 

Old Air Products - They furnished a complete heating, ventilation and air conditioning system for the car. Below are some of the parts that will be used in the car.

 

 

 

AMK Products -They have furnished a complete body assembly kit for the car, which includes nuts, bolts, washers, screws and other hardware needed to assemble the body of the car. 

 

Quantum Performance provided this 302 Roller Block, Ford Racing Aluminum heads and intake, along with water pump, fuel pump, Petronix Coil and distributor.

 

 

 

Mike Haney of Moose Auto Glass begins installing the Robbins Haartz Cloth top onto the car. Mike is known as being the premier top installer in the area. Note that he uses a Fender GripperTM cover over the back end of the car for paint protection.

 

 

The top iself was furnished by the Robbins Auto Top Company, Inc. of Oxnard, California. They are another of our fine sponsors. The color mismatch in the photo is due to lighting. In person the colors are spot on!
