Body work continues with the replacement of the driver side shock tower. Mark Whitt donated a tower from one of his parts cars and the crew below preps the body for it. Pictured are from left Eddie Siler, Mark Whitt and Jerry Christopherson.

After installation of the shock tower and the radiator core support, the rear quarter panels and the taillight panel are removed. This car had almost no rust. The panels are being replaced due to body damage.

The hood and deck lid are mounted. Then the crew is test fitting the driver side quarter panel. Pictured left to right are Chris Brantley (videographer), Craig Chesley in background, Jim Jacobs, Jerry Christopherson (legs only) and Jim Ellis at the front of the car.

While the body work is being done, several members are refurbishing small parts to go back on the car. Below, Craig Chesley is media blasting a shock tower cap for painting.

The rear quarter panels, taillight panel, door and hood and deck lid are all test fitted to the car. Welding is next.

This is the way it looked at the end of the day with all parts test fitted - a great day of accomplishment!
